They may not be wrong, and I might be a pedant, but I hate when a network (the networks, prob.) call a race right when the polls close. Their graphics read 0% for yes and no for Calif. Prop 50! People are still waiting to vote, from reports. But they're probably right, tonight.

I voted today, too. My city had only two ballot questions of an anodyne nature. Kornacki wouldn't have mentioned them at all even if he was on MSNBC.

I don't think I've come across a poem that taps into my ethos when it comes to navigating queer community within the context of a hostile world as much as "We Have Enough Dead Friends" by Lena Oleanderson.

I strive to make my home a sanctuary where other faggots feel safe and cared for.
