there really seems to be this growing divide in the fandom between furs who can afford 5 or 6 cons a year, and those who struggle to afford even one, and it makes the social media landscape so much more fickle to navigate

I wish things were more equal, and more furs had a chance to participate

A traditional full body artwork of my anthropomorphic fox OC, Mikan. The artwork uses ohuhu alcohol markers, washi tapes, and fineliner pens. Two of the washi tapes used are the asexual and agender pride flags. The same artwork, but the photo has been taken at an angle, so that the metallic sparkles on some of the tapes can be seen better.

An estimated 15.7 million workers use SNAP. It’s a lifeline for those in low-wage jobs.

Meanwhile, CEOs are paid 280x as much as the typical worker.

Don’t be angry at workers for using food stamps.

Be angry at the corporations paying them so little that they need them.

This flyer announces a free farmers market at Loring Greenough House in Jamaica Plain (12 South Street) for people who lost SNAP benefits due to a government shutdown. The market offers: Free fresh produce and bread (grown by Allandale Farm, bread from Iggy's) Thursdays, 11AM - 1PM Dates: November 6, 13, 20 This is a mutual aid initiative providing food support during a period when SNAP benefits have been disrupted. Jamaica Plain has a strong history of community organizing and mutual aid networks.

Farmers, retail owners,
truck drivers, employees
of multiple outlets... the list goes on.
