Market is open!!!
This is the last and most immoral mail I’ve received from #publisher. Offer to author a paper I never heard about before and out of my expertise.
I presume it is not for free.
Another hint that some people are hijacking Science, both “authors” and publishers

This past March, the BSEB 2024 was published! It features a section on new regional bryological records from the Iberian Peninsula.

From @orthotreeproject.bsky.social, we reported Dendrocryphaea lamyana in Extremadura and Dyalitrichia saxicola in Navarra. Go have a look!🌱
Ya está disponible el volumen 58 del BSEB, con las aportaciones del año 2023. Esperamos que lo disfrutéis

It was great meeting so many new people—especially connecting with bryologist colleagues from the Canary Islands and Portugal, and many young researchers

Huge thanks to the organizers and to @sebriologia.bsky.social for the financial support. See you all in Tenerife in 2027!

Last week we attended the XXIV International Symposium on Cryptogamic Botany in Pontevedra, Galicia. An amazing experience with 188 participants from 12 countries, 114 posters, and 82 talks. A real success! 🌿✨
Hi Pablo! Just to be fair, the contents of vol 58 were already punished along the year (2024). The delay affected only the annual compilation volume and it was out in march. The section of chorological novelties was launched the year before (not a new section in 58) www.briologia.es/boletines/Vo...

Feeling grateful for having joined #ISCB2025 in Pontevedra, sharing our research on Breutelia chrysocoma, discovering the inspiring work of fellow cryptogamists, and reconnecting with the community. Events like this remind me why I chose science.
