Different acting community, but I met people in background work who mourned that incel as well. Saying the classic propaganda about Jesus, love, and what not. Yet they always use any excuse to engage in open bigotry, xenophobia, and hate when they can against marginalized groups.

That's obvious BS as discussed from Hoyo. If they operate in America in anyway then yes I 100% expect and demand they sign with SAG if it calls for it. It's necessary.

Go on Actor's Access and you will see Vertical Short Films in abundance. The common rate for Day Players is $75 dollars for 12 hours work. Yes you read that right. It's that egregious.

They often try to skip out on hiring intimacy coordinators and fight choreographers. Which are sorely needed given their...subject material lets call it. I knew from just doing background that these sorely need to go union out of necessity for actors' safety and compensation.

I did background work on a few verticals when I first moved out to LA two months ago. If I can offer my two cents I wholeheartedly support these going union and hope companies sign. Because if I'm being honest, I won't work on any one of them again unless all the companies do sign with SAG-Aftra.

No one mentions it. But there were plenty of aspiring Voice Actors on YouTube who kept trying to undermine the strike as well as celebrate scabbing. It still makes me sick thinking about it. Not even the aspiring VAs were hiding their selfishness.
