i think the disconnect with the bluesky team and the userbase is that the userbase, the people who occupy this place, think of bluesky as purely a twitter alternative and the bluesky team thinks of it as purely a coding foundation for others build off of

Played the shareware episode multiple times as a kid (because we were a cheap house). Finally got to play the rest when we stepped up for Ultimate Doom a couple years later.
Doom used to be shareware, with the first of the 3 episodes released for free. $40 would be about $90 today. Worth every penny.
