Almost everything people are amazed about with LLMs could have been more insightful if they'd searched the same thing on Wikipedia. But that might also make them pause from thinking they can copy-paste the information "they made" and call it their own.

And Apple's App Store has been very restrictive of adult content.

Aha! It's weird, but I read that as the day pass is purely for the 'conference' part of the event, which is separate from a wristband which is for everything related to one industry slice (but not the conference sessions).

How was the crowd? I’m curious after CR visit if a big name doing a one-off not big brand show gets a solid crowd.

Really? I’d have thought the showcase would be as close to the base tier as possible to give showcase folks max visibility?

Can't believe the Canadians put up with that US Letter garbage but I'm glad there is an A4 vanguard in there to light the way to a better future.

Thanks. Looks like a good read!

I find more and more that if I ask hard questions to PR folks I can't even get a formal 'no comment'. Sometimes I even to fall off the list. Seems I'd need to find a direct internal contact if I want to request an official comment separate from the "look at our shiny new thing" PR information.

Awwww... I just wanna smoosh that face. Looks a lot like a shepherd I grew up with. Gorgeous.

were they exploring varieties of ham (smoked, honey, maple...) or was it just generic 'ham' all the way down?

Story time: was playing Brutal Legend after my 4yo had gone to bed. Had just launched off a ramp in The Deuce and everything is amazing when I hear a "what's this?" behind me. Kid had walked in and realised that, yes, bedtime FOMO is real and adults are having an awesome time you don't get to see.

At least we get billions and billions in revenue from all this gas we let them sell, right? No, wait... turns out we saw zero royalties on $149 billion in gas exports over 2020-2024...

We don’t have a gas shortage, we have a gas export problem. Santos are gaming the system and pushing up the price of gas paid by 🇦🇺 households & industry.

We don’t need new projects, we need to reserve uncontracted export gas for 🇦🇺 now!

Why Santos is behind your soaring electricity and mortgage costs
It was a primary force behind Australia’s inflationary surge, it’s forced businesses either to the wall or to shift offshore, undermined national industry policy and resulted in the loss of countless ...

for those keeping track at home: YouTube and Snapchat say they doesn't qualify, TikTok is reportedly trying to get around the ban by fiddling with its features.

With <2 months to go, 3 out of 5 companies /named/ by the government either don't accept they're in the ban or want to circumvent it

Here is a player facing spreadsheet of 150 indie games from PAX. Aus, NZ and SE Asia. Game name, steam (or other) link, demo y/n, genre, comments (which I'm editing). Please share. Let's work together to connect people to Aussie indies. I'm going to tag people next. docs.google.com/spreadsheets...

In one day you can do 3x3 hour (ish) legs with stops near Goulburn and Albury. In general the route has lovely views and things to pass by but not many ‘destinations’. Gundagai has some amazing historic bridges that I do not understand but are amazing to see and drive through.

I do it a couple of times per year. Yass is now iconic on the drive given the memeability of the name. You can stop at the sign and keep going. Gorgeous countryside for driving from Yass to Albury. After Albury you’ll find Glenrowan which is where the famed bushranger Ned Kelly had his last stand.

Should I buy a 30th anniversary Playstation 5 given Xbox has conceded the console category so I should just play Xbox on PC and give Sony my living room?
