It would have been my dad's birthday today - 79 years minus 3 days.
I'm trying to write a note for his card as we're celebrating him today, but the words are falling over each other.
I can't just write "I love you. I'll miss you" he meant so much more to me than that.😿

Mam has been sorting out bank stuff this morning. They had a joint account so she was worried. Lady from bank was lovely and also discovered Dad had sorted a lot of payment stuff well in advance 😻
There are so many things to do when someone dies it's mindboggling!

Condolences Kristina. We lost my father recently and I took a share in his care the last few months. Grief is ever present atm but somehow being there for him has softened it a little.

Mam and I are really grateful for the kind messages about Dad.
Funeral is provisionally booked for the 31st. I think Dad would have laughed at it being Halloween.
Mam wanted to be on her own last night so I'll be going over soon to help start the clear up.
