philosophical nature of the series. Erikson does not write escapist fantasy, he writes a story with a point. A story about its themes. Malazan is best when it is philosophical.

I don't understand how people can complain about Malazan getting "too philosophical". I understand WHY people say this and I understand that tastes dictate that some people will dislike it, but Malazan does not GET philosophical, it always was. I can't comprehend liking Malazan and disliking the

Like yeah sometimes someone has a legitimate question that they need help understanding, but sometimes they're just asking about basic elements of the plot/characters that reading more answers
