Doesn’t matter.

It is their obligation to be a grownup and to exercise discretion.

If the argument is that they are too stupid or malevolent to inform themselves properly then, oh well, it’s a civic good that their financial resources are depleted.

Seriously. Small business owners aren’t reading the NY Times. Especially grocery store owners.

I bet this specific person gets all their “news” from WeChat > WhatsApp > YouTube
Russian fleets were designed so that each one could take out a carrier group by overwhelming it with missiles. Also the navy is not their strength, so they are very vulnerable to swarm attacks.
It's good for bullying small nations or delivering one big punch in a real war, but to me, warships are floating air defense and air force platforms.

I think subs would be better for the rocket artillery/missile role.
Their Mediterranean presence is also down, but they had too many fleets to begin with. They should also terminate their Caspian "flotilla", it makes no sense.

Curious. Why would bukele need lists of people informing on MS-13? One wonders.
This story is extraordinary even by 2025 standards. Marco Rubio, the nation's top diplomat, made a deal with Bukele and agreed to renege on informant agreements in a years-long DOJ investigation into MS-13, totally undercutting credibility of such agreements.

Rubio promised to betray U.S. informants to get Trump’s El Salvador prison deal
To secure U.S. access to President Nayib Bukele’s notorious CECOT prison, Rubio agreed to turn over several MS-13 leaders central to a long-running Justice Department investigation.

I wonder why members of the American Communist Party (ACP) mingle with convicted sex offenders, disgraced Serbian nationalist filmmakers, Russian shills and Muscovite fascists at a gala evening at the Bolshoi Theatre to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of the RT-propaganda enterprise?
Its one in a million bullshit project. As a small business owner you have to give back 40% of the EU and state tender grant amout to the NER mafia

Nobody ever cared about it
It doesn't matter. Europe should consolidate it's near abroad to North Africa and Caucasus, Turkey maybe.

It's better to have a single geographically uninterrupted bloc

once this war ends I hope most Ukrainians find their way home
a little tired of the hospitality
russia's goal in Europe is to flood it with as many refugees as possible to cause social disdain
he's succeeding with every Ukrainian city he levels with the ground

we'll trade you 1000 Taurus to leave
66% of Germans oppose benefits for Ukrainian refugees
The majority of Germans are against financial payments to Ukrainian refugees, while supporting the return of men of conscription age to Ukraine.

uh, trump might have found a novel way to obstruct courts.
BREAKING: US federal courts warn they will not have any funds remaining by October 20th. Each court will decide how to manage case loads, grand juries, etc. with skeleton crews. Many cases will be delayed.
Nobody would arrest these people in German/EU airspace either. The rest is cope.
Will the USA hand over the Mexican speaking regions to Mexico finally?
Will you pay me allowance if I convert?

Surely this will be the moment they take advantage of American weakness & invade Taiwan!
Theoretical question: Could I go to Germany to "steal women" and money? Would anyone stop me?

From @afalkhatib.bsky.social on X:

The daily barbarism of Hamas continues in Gaza with executions, torture, and disappearances. A Gazan is tortured, legs broken & forced to praise Hamas, all because he thanked Trump & Netanyahu for the free GHF food aid during the height of the hunger crisis.
They would 100% support payments to jihadists though
