BienMeSabe Venezuelan Cafe & Restaurant.

Delicious Venezuelan food. Able to have meat and vegetarian options. Arepas, empanadas, plantains & more.

The main location is up by the Montrose Brown Line stop near Montrose and Ashland.

Short walk from there to both the Dovetail and Begyle Breweries.

The thing about carbonara is that getting the right consistency is largely about the heat transfer/dissipation of where you’re mixing the egg with the pasta. You just have to figure out what works with the pan you’re using.

Actually Boston’s hurt because the website goes by municipal boundaries. Maybe there’s a way to include nearby attractions but I don’t immediately see it

Other major US cities I'm familiar w/:
LA's list is really weak. Can't imagine doing more than 25.
SF, Seattle both very solid. More outdoorsy than I'd like but I knew that.
DC is great, but too museum-heavy (also knew that).
Boston is surprisingly weak. I do end up going back to same places there.

I think I need to clarify, "Dutch bikers (motorized)".

Others I haven't done are Medieval Torture Museum (no intention of going to this one tbh), Holy Name Cathedral, and Money Museum.

I guess the last 2 are Open House Chicago sites this weekend.

Genuinely don't know what to do with "Route 66"

One time, I shared a ride to LAX w/ a bunch of Dutch bikers who did the whole route. Makes me less inclined to count it as my 27th just for having seen both endpoints—also, this was originally an exercise to show how little I've seen of NYC.

Tours are in a different category—architecture tours (unsurprisingly) dominate there.

Chinatown and Water Taxi to Chinatown would both be in the top 15 if it was up to me.

When you look at the top 30 attractions in Chicago, I've done 26.

This is also probably the best top 30 list for a US city, with the possible exception of NYC (hard to evaluate having only done 3 there). So many activities that are truly worthwhile in Chicago.

When I look at the top 30 attractions in NYC according to TripAdvisor, I've done 3 (Times Sq, Brooklyn Bridge, Broadway). It's ridiculously low for a place I've spent more than a week at.

The current predicted probabilities shown are “Sanae Takaichi 77.8%, Yuichiro Tamaki 15%, Election called 5.2%, Shinjirō Koizumi <1%”. The trading graph shows that Koizumi’s probability rose from 60 to 80% until just before October 5, while Takaichi declined from 40 to 20%. At that point, Takaichi rose to close to 100% and Koizumi declined to close to 0%. Since then, Takaichi has declined to around 80% while Tamaki and “Election called” has increased.

This was my 2nd time in New York City, with I think 11 nights total. Somehow the only tourist attractions that I've been to are Times Square and the Brooklyn Bridge. And it's really not by choice, mostly.

I was trying to be a sicko who’s been to the Isamu Noguchi Museum in Queens but not the Met or MoMA, but probably not happening this trip. Gotta be flexible traveling with a 3yo
