I am begging people to please bring back the word squick. You don't need to moralize or preach or preface every dislike with "I'm not a prude but--"
It's okay to have squicks, and it's healthy to set boundaries. As long as nobody's being actively harassed, we can respect the squicks of others.

See, it's that people only want to consume what's morally "okay". And they don't want to make that choice themselves based on "squicks". I think we (millenians, gen X etc) are very used to making those choices bc we didn't have algorithms. Gen Z always had algorithms curating things for them

Hear me out. It ends up with Crowley unconsciously miracling a pair of jeans with JUICY written in the back, and he doesn't notice for DAYS. Aziraphale keeps making a puzzled face and Crowley simply thinks the angel is constipated

At a store that sells traditional Irish wool knits, I learned that they have assigned certain patterns to certain clans. They sold these cin multiple good-types only in white. I went to see what they had in Clan Crowley and they had a grey scarf. Saleswoman gasped to see it. Only one. Mine now 🥰🥰
