Have you met Canadians? We agree with each other at the top of our voice. We get in bar fights by buying each other shots and trying to figure out why we were mad at each other. Its possibly the most annoying country ever.

I hate when I feel I’m being pressed to defend Doug Ford. He’s awful. He’s as dumb as a box of dead flies. He’s worse than any politician should be. He’s a mean-spirited bully. All I’m saying is he’s better than Trump. So are tooth decay and phlegm, but credit where credit is due.

Actually I disliked him a great deal (oddly, I liked bush, who I’m not 100% sure was human). But it’s important to understand there’s a difference between using tariffs strategically and having an ongoing temper tantrum.

Look, my motorcycle was a 698cc instead of a 750cc because of tariffs. I’m the last guy to defend Reagan, but he understood how to use tariffs. Shouting random numbers wasn’t what he did. He was probably wrong but there are limited comparisons between Reagan (bad) and IQ45 (you’re kidding, right ?)

Our two national sports are “bar fight on ice skates” and “sliding big rocks at other big rocks”. Our national animal cuts down trees with its teeth. We are oddly proud of the Cobra Chicken.

Oh, he was a train wreck (most of what you mention was when he was mayor. I’m talking about him as a cllr. He was horrible but more palatable as a cllr. He did try to help his constituents. He was weird.)

And voting against all spending. But (and understand, I hated the guy) he was weirdly empathetic to his constituents. When it came to governing he was awful. When it came to filling potholes he was great. Weird guy all the way around.
