Kootenay Plains Ecological Reserve (est 1987) on Highway 11 Alberta.
Warm chinook winds have melted winter snow, exposing grasses and providing food for elk, deer and, until the late 1800s, bison. Grizzly bears and wolves, as well as migrating birds rely on this montane region for survival

We hit the trails for the annual ATVBC Poker Ride at Logan Lake, BC 🇨🇦!
It was an epic day of dust, mountain views. The mission? Drive up the dusty logging roads and high into the mountains to find the poker stations and best hand wins!

With Canada Post on strike I decided to courier a letter overseas. The prices ranged from $108 to $173!!! For an envelope!!!
Needless to say, I will wait and hope the strike is over soon.

I am allergic to mint so finding toothpaste I can handle is a battle. (Dentists love me - almost everything they have is mint LOL) I usually use Arm and Hammer, but I am out of my supply so I hope the cinnamon is good.

We lament about this kind of thing a lot. It used be there were small appliance repair shops all over - I haven’t seen one in years. We try to fix our own items if we can, but sadly society has become lazy - would rather throw away and buy new. Manufacturers have made this problem even worse.
