Yo I think- I think I saw this dude’s father get killed a couple years ago. Like there was this big mixup about production costs at the sword factory, boss joked about slashed prices and this dude just went crazy, traumatized the kid. Has nothing to do with me though, I just worked the assembly line

Starting to see why people describe Wretch inevitably becoming a ‘bleed build’ in the early game lol. Trying to raise all my stats equally and then build for weapons once I’m in mid-game (assumed, no spoilers) but keep getting bleed weapons from pickups

Lots of intelligent enemy monsters, some chivalrous but all bearing knowledge or abilities out of their range. Often leaves the UM in too much pain to go berserk, forced to capture ‘live or as minimal mutilation as possible’ for unknown reasons. Lots of opportunity for knowledge/ skill growth filler

Ok thought too much in the shower:

- ‘Angel’, short timer that extends as long as pain and sanity are tolerable

- pairs special-made weapons with abilities, minimal fight skills

- if pain is tolerated but mind is lost it briefly goes berserk

- semi-unwilling army puppet but well funded for it
