Such sad news. We'd worked together at Geek & Sundry and I remember Rob helped me make a deadline by generously providing photos for an article I was writing. He was an early example to me of the kindness to be found in the tabletop industry.

I have friends in both cities, but I've only been to Seattle so I was rooting for the Mariners. But I did root for the Tigers when Flaherty was pitching. It was the least I could do after he helped the Dodgers win the World Series last year. Having no rooting interest in either team is fun! 🤣

It's so much easier to appreciate an epic baseball playoff game when you have no rooting interest in either team. When I watch the Dodgers in the postseason it's taking years off my life.
