The ironic thing about trying to smear Connolly is that there are so many blatant Humphreys scandals. It’s almost as if journalists don’t want to ask about them 🤔

Grift smarter, you must, young Yaxley-Lennon.

From my friends still in academia, their main concern is that AI is rapidly speeding up the slippage of universities away from any form of critical thinking. Students relying on AI to do their research, and staff spending too much of their time trying to stop this.

AI is such a powerful grift that it’s rapidly becoming impossible to avoid it.

My sister-in-law works for a large multinational that have instructed staff to make use of AI tools, despite staff knowing that doing this is part of the company’s plan to train AI to, eventually, replace them.

I honestly didn’t think anyone had read My Booky Wook, Brand included. 🫣

This was the obvious outcome.

At the precise moment that Israel risked tangible consequences for its genocide, a “ceasefire” was rapidly agreed, thereby allowing the international community to take no action, while Israel continues its genocide under the guise of securing the peace.

Narrator - Siobhan had, clearly, forgotten about the existence of Russell Brand’s - My Booky Wook

Daniel Day-Lewis, obvs. They can have Bono in return

Wrong, everyone knows that Blindboy doesn’t exist, he’s an amalgam of our collective desire to be unafraid of Limerick that gained material corporeality in the early 00s.

“No useless lad ever disappears” feels like a poignant summary of this century

The first of many organisations pretending that a genocide never happened.

I feel that people have grossly neglected the skill of constructing bad jokes because they have constant access to entertainment, especially streaming. I was forced to hone my craft during my time in Siberia because we had нетflix

I’ve learned to only tell bad jokes to French people, they’ll always tell you when un oeuf is enough.

Have it on good authority that Catherine Connolly unironically calls it hump day.

Heather Humphreys - the president’s job is to protect the constitution.

Also Heather Humphreys - I would just let the get on with introducing policies that change the constitution

When Catherine Connolly reads bedtime stories, she never does the voices.

I heard she pays with copper money that she dumps on the counter and expects the cashier to count out the right amount.

And doesn’t know that Jameson is also a Protestant whiskey.

Catherine Connolly used to wrap little bits of turf in tinfoil and sell them as ten spots of hash in the campsite at Féile

Exactly. The state of Israel has gone to great lengths to conflate criticism of its actions with antisemitism, and we have now reached a point where Jewish people are being publicly abused for speaking out against Israel.

He would call it antisemitism, and he’d be right. But he wouldn’t view his actions as being antisemitic, despite them being exactly that.

The belief that every Jewish person that fails to support Israeli actions is a traitor or self-hating, is obviously antisemitic.
