Every LIBERAL.
Every NDP.
Every Bloc.
Elizabeth May.
All rightfully voted against an authoritarian motion that violates so much Charter rights it’s an abomination.
Never forget this.
If the CPC gets power, we’re in big trouble.

The structure of the 🇨🇦/🇺🇸 trade file terrifies me.

🇺🇸 is trying to bankrupt 🇨🇦.The 🇺🇸is waging economic warfare—creating the conditions for annexation.

PP is only fanning populist flames. The proletarian class can be dangerous.

This is a dire time for 🇨🇦.

The only sane—human species preserving—response to the climate crisis is to leave it (oil and natural gas) in the ground.
Here are a few photos from yesterday’s Draw the Line March in Ottawa.

Canada's true crisis is the everyday emergency of just trying to get by in an impossible economy.

I’m running for NDP leader so we can transform a system rigged for the rich—together.

We need a government that serves the many, not the money.

Why I’m running for NDP leader

An annoying thing that demonstrates that perhaps I am an idiot: recording a quasi-brilliant lecture on Descartes, only to realize that my mic was muted from the third minute mark onwards.
Kirk was a man who spewed vitriolic hatred. He was killed both by and for an expression of that hatred.

Neither Kirk’s particularly loathsome brand of hatred, nor the ignominious actions of his killer should be celebrated.

It is below the dignity of Parliament.
Charlie Kirk's death was a tragedy.
But he built his name on provocation and white supremacy.
He said that gun deaths of innocents was "worth it."
On Mark Carney's first day as PM in Parliament Liberals gave Kirk a standing ovation.
Ceding ground to extremism won't make them nicer.
He advocated the most hateful sentiments in the most vitriolic ways.

He also advocated for gun violence.

In a moral system that consistently applies a principle of justice, one reaps what one sows.

We validated his toxic views; his end is direct realization of those views.
This is exactly correct. As the credit rating drops, the interest rate goes up—to compensate foreign investors for taking on more risk when they buy US debt.
Absolutely—a coordinated sell of of US T bills would force interest rates to climb, thus plunging to US into a simultaneous debt crisis and recession.
Time for Canada to co-ordinate with Japan and other countries and start selling off US treasury bonds.
Enough is enough.

Time to play hardball

The US leader really needs to learn the use and function of upper-case letters.
Trump announces a 35% tariff for Canada.

I cannot believe this guy? He is back on using the supposedly “Fentanyl influx” from Canada into the US to justify 35% tariffs? What type of ridiculous negotiation is that?

❤️🍁🇨🇦VIVE LE CANADA 🇨🇦🍁❤️
So the gist is an ultimatum: 🇨🇦 becomes the 51st state or it faces a 35% tariff. The sane response: (a) expel the US ambassador, (b) cease all export of goods to the US, and (c) immediately get French and British nuclear weapons on Canadian soil.

U.S. President Donald Trump is threatening to slap a 35 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods as the two countries have been engaged in negotiations to reach some sort of trade agreement.

It is certainly related by implication. It is also a crime against humanity all its own
