i think generally the way i enjoy and imagine tachyon/cafe has that element of surprise comfort, they're like two weirdo freaks of the nighttime to me who have a strange relationship that's actually quite comfortable, even if it doesn't look like it from the outside perspective. but i digress hhh

maggot infested water is an interesting environmental hazard, bc u can just embrace it. doesn't kill you directly, but makes your hp management different, and the enemies respawn so ur not left without any silk to remove its effects. idk i just think bilewater is cool! and i loved the platforming

Bringing this back to say i love when i can feel a developer fucking with me. When i can hear them cackling and steepling their hands to say “how about this!!” Like its annoying but in a way i love. Its a way of testing you in new ways and making you change how you approach obstacles. I love it
