Not sure if Montembeault deserves all the blame in that last goal. Hard to figure out the release point on that kind of play IMO.

Newhook has made adjustments to his game this season and it’s working so for. He is focusing on his game without the puck, skating hard in the transition and playing a more direct style.

Personally, part of it, is the whole organization threats their players like well-rounded, intelligent adults. For instance MSL, his press conferences are not filled with simple cliches or fake hard-nosed takes. He trust his places want to be better and he tries to help them succeed
