The fact Republicans are trying so hard to negatively spin this weekend's No Kings protests speaks to 2 points:

1) They are utterly terrified of the masses assembling against them.

2) They're led by a bloviating man-child who throws a tantrum the moment he's not the center of attention.

Took the family to Eastern State Penitentiary’s Halloween Nights last night.

A lot of fun, tons to do and see, and they kept the line moving.

Not all too scary IMO, but as someone who writes horror maybe I’m a harder mark than most. Regardless it was a fun night out.

I 💯 % get it. My social anxiety is weird. I’m good in front of crowds. But one on one, say selling books at a convention, I totally freeze up. And a lot of people take that as being unapproachable.

The Fascist regime is trying to label No Kings Day as a Hate America Rally, because that's literally all they know how to push - hatred. Everything is about hatred for them. It's all they know, what consumes them.

Without hatred they have nothing because they're empty shells otherwise.

Just dropped one of my son's classes. He (special needs with accommodations) had asked for feedback for an assignment. Prof ignored him, so I stepped in. Their response was "check the rubric."

Needless to say, not paying for a class where the professor can't be bothered to do the bare minimum.

I think it's pretty clear JD Vance has been flexing, preparing for Trump's final "departure".

However, I think what George Stephanopoulos did, cutting him off, was also a flex - testing the waters of outrage to see if the masses would rally behind Vance.

They did not and that's significant.
