Feels like this will be a useful meme for the next few years

You're not wrong about that. I went up the gate, and heard barking. Looked down to see my naughty dog not exactly making friends.

It's great how the magnet wall behind is a pretty great summary of the last 10 years of my life also.

The judge is spending hours every day checking how watertight the abolition of sending people to the stocks was.

Judge: Hey, fun fact guys, I was looking into the statue abolishing capitial punishment, and I think I've found an interesting loophole.
richarddwyer.bsky.social
I wonder what the maximum penalty the judge can give he? I have a feeling we can find out.

(As if this submission ends with "Oh and yeah we have footage of her trying to murder someone")

He's saying that the lib dem approach collapsed once they entered government.

Now you could argue that the Greens are not following that playbook. But, c'mon it's an objective fact that after the Lid Dems entered government their support collapsed.

OK, but "cafe" is the word to describe that in 140 characters or less. And the poster is British.

So assuming "Starbucks in America" and then posting /a lot/ based on that assumption is kind of on you.

Is this an USA/UK treating staff differently thing? There being no tips here must make a difference.
richarddwyer.bsky.social
Again, really feels like your bringing a lot of baggage specific to your situation that doesn't really apply to a volunteer run cafe in a National Trust property in England?
richarddwyer.bsky.social
Sounds like should probably get a different job?

But it was unwelcoming pettiness, what was he meant to call it? A warm embrace?

Oh Kemi, what are you like.

Hahahaha

Thank you for your service pouring cups of tea. Truly you are the best of us.

It's very funny reading her post considering as far as I can see she opened her part in the thread by calling someone a knobhead.

So some personal insults are fine I guess?
richarddwyer.bsky.social
Interesting. What did she say?

(Sorry I'm away from the tv and no one seems to have written it up yet)
richarddwyer.bsky.social
It's a cold and windy day and you'd rather they stand outside so you can "savour the time without customers".

Are you doing a bit?

I was there in August, the guys at the door was really nice.

I had an awkward moment when I realised I had no coins for the collection, and the smallest note I had was €20, which after a moments consideration I put in. I must have looked like an idiot, but he was friendly.

LOL, it's great how there are people on here who think cafe workers are basically D Day veterans, and expecting politeness from them is the sign of an evil person.
