For the Shadow of the Colossus story, we interviewed 14 people including project leads Fumito Ueda and Kenji Kaido, hired Gravity Rush concept artist Takeshi Oga to illustrate the cover, and put together a 10,000-word story with help from @milkman.bsky.social @shmuplations.bsky.social and others.

in which we return to the long-dead world that birthed Snyder & Panosian’s weird western - and no, I’m not referring to the Old West, but Comixology, which very briefly offered an opening for creator-owned material from some of the industry’s top talents, before … well.
Review excerpt - Speaking of buried secrets, Canary is an artifact of another moment in time, when Comixology ruled the roost of digital distribution for comic books. Of course, Comixology is dead now, the app officially retired two years gone, and what remains of the initiative folded into functionality for the Kindle. That's hardly a new story - what has the previous decade shown us but the relentless march of progress, in the form of every good thing online inexorably scuttled or changed for the worse? Our specimen today was the product of a moment of late optimism in the development of the app - Scott Snyder signed a groundbreaking eight-title digital-first deal with Comixology in Summer of 2021, and two and a half years later the app was dead. I bought Young Men In Love: New Romance at NYCC and was pleasantly surprised to see @hamishsteele.bsky.social has written a sequel to his Gay Dwarf comic I Like Your Beard! I really loved that comic and I'm happy to see these characters again 💗
