My son has been wanting to watch the movies I watched as a kid so we have been doing a deep dive through Ghostbusters, Rocky, and Karate Kid movies and it is both amazing and hard to watch. It was so long ago.

I didn’t have cable until the early 90s when I went to college, so I missed a lot of the 80s MTV stuff such as Headbangers Ball. But I watched all the time in the 90s instead of studying or doing homework. Watching the channel transition to the real world and such was horrible.

I think you ended up with the better gig. I saw that MTV finally shut down the last of their music channels bringing the era of Music Television to an end.
