Since I was a little kid I've enjoyed photos of the Truman renovation of the White House. They had to do this because the building was in very poor shape, having been neglected for years (there was, y'know, a war on). You can see the care they took to preserve the facade. Compare/contrast etc.

Montana has a long history of citizen's grassroots reform & fierce independence, particularly when it comes to money in politics, corruption, and the citizen's initiative process.

I’ve been lucky enough to help my country & neighbors since I was 17 years old. I’m 54 now.
I don’t like pledges of allegiance all that much.
But I love my country.
I don’t like flags all that much.
But I love my neighbors.

So tomorrow we will be at No Kings. For my country and for my neighbors

Will anyone in the Montana media ask Daines about this? The very foundation of our nation is drawn directly from no kings. Nothing can be more American than reaffirming this belief. The media needs to step up here.
