It appears that there is an immutable law of nature: Every great joy is tinged with an element of sorrow. This thought was occasioned by a drive today down Hwy 101, observing the proliferation of electric vehicles (yay) and then remembering (boo) the schmuck who benefits from their proliferation.

Small field trip today to check up on a few ferments and receive some Grenache, harvested ahead of the rain. Thankful not to be driving through rainy weather- that will come soon enough.
