Shiny Wobbuffet!! I wished I had a red ball to colour coordinate but I’m stuck with my 230-something Ultra Balls and over 700 items in my inventory (skull).

Last #artfight post!! Dinkus (left) and Janus (right) for @miss-merengue.bsky.social! I really liked how this came out NGL, I kept wanting to add more and more details to the ambience. Unfortunately I made Dinkus way too big oops.

I hated this event so much I actually filled out the survey and wrote SO MANY WORDS like I am a hater but if you can compel me to genuinely write hundreds of words in a survey, congratulations.

Like I wanted to like this event, but the more the plot “””thickens”””, the more diluted it gets (ha).

I’m NOT saying that no other game can make this element, but like… that’s literally the catalyst that led to the entire fall of events in Cytus II… as it did this event to Threadstar. Given the past events HAD strong elements of C2 and D2… I’m inclined to believe this isn’t just a coincidence.

For example one of the “””plot twists””” which was just an info dump all in one dialogue is a star (presumed actress / singer) after death started to sing foreign songs, having memories from a different past life and ends up learning she has the body of another and made peace with living for both.

It creates this false “plot twist” moment, which NONE of them worked BTW. It had no pay off, and it had no basis / leads to go off.

InFold writers should really stop trying to be a cheap imitation of things they’re enamoured by, it’s okay to be inspired but execution is really important too.

The mystery was already dead before it started. You don’t even get the satisfaction of solving it because you’re not given leads to solve. You’re given literally answers all in one go suddenly. The investigation had very poor mechanics and Nikki was so narrow minded it can only mislead players.

We had to disprove alibis with hallucinations?? All our evidence were foreign knowledge with foreign names adding a layer of false difficulty. The evidence panel kept changing so it was hard to search for what you needed. The review board was useless and I felt it was less mystery, more fetch quest.

Finished the Infinity Nikki event… easily the worst event so far. As an avid mystery game fan, this storyline was so contrived and poorly executed. Everything was so bad, the only decent part was whatever they lifted directly from Ace Attorney (cross examination, look at the format).

Happy birthday to Otogi Morihito and congratulations Shinohara for not only the completion of Witch Watch S1, but also the confirmation of S2!!

Moi is my Top2 WW character! He has a lot of depth and I know Shinohara put a lot of thought building him.

Birdtober 4: Extravagant tail - Blyth's Paradise-Flycatcher. It used to be lumped into Asian Paradise-Flycatcher with other species until a species update in 2015! I also saw this fella in the wild (video below)

16.5 hours of work later, I've finished my second piece, and it's of my beloved FFXIV character!
