Like most sports, especially Liverpool F.C and Gloucester Rugby. Low volume recreational fish with entitlement tilt issues at the poker table. Currently politically homeless!

So why does the BBC label the academic and economist Faiza Shaheen an "activist" but refuse to do the same for the former academic, turned anti-migrant activist Matt Goodwin?
Lol! It's all you can do with the Tories at this stage.
Conservatives have today ditched their Mass Deportation Bill, 5 months after Chris Philip tabled it in the Commons, but a week after it was dubbed the Idi Amin Tribute Act, as it proposed Deportations of settled & legal migrants on a scale never seen since 1972 & never proposed in a democracy before
I'm the same but they sent me a link to their NATO policy that I will read through at work later.

He's very impressive as a leader and I highly recommend his podcast.
I think they're already done for. There will be a hardcore minority of The Left who will vote for them purely because of Corbyn but I think the vast majority of The Left will go Green.

Polanski is proving to be a very effective leader and the membership figures for the Greens are reflecting that.
Thanks for that, much appreciated. I'll have a read through at work later.

Keep doing what you're all doing. The country needs you.
Exactly this! Your Party are turning out to be everything I expected them to be although splitting before they officially launched was not on my list.

It's student politics that can be generously described as naive and only a matter of time before they're all arguing over who's politically purest.
I'm not really following the Greens but has their policy on NATO been clarified yet? It was the one area where I thought 'nope' initially but if it is acceptable, they'll have my vote (for what its worth!)
I think it is the first mistake Farage has made that may actually stick with voters.

Potential Reform voters wont like being tagged as a supporter of a racist party and by failing to condemn Pochin's racism Farage has given his political opponents a very heavy club to hit him with.

If racism has no place in his party, then Nigel Farage should prove it by withdrawing the whip from Sarah Pochin immediately.
Bold prediction: Pochin resigns by Bonfire Night citing how she's become a distraction.
These Reform types really have a habit of saying the quiet bit out loud, don't they.
Did she say, "In my opinion ethnic minorities are over represented on TV considering the percentage of the population they make up" or did she say, "it makes me mad to see ethnic minorities on tv"? There's a vast difference.

She's a racist, Bobby. Saying racist thoughts out loud.

I am vaguely curious about how Labour have got themselves into a position where one of their landmark pieces of legislation, the Renter's Rights Bill, is finally law, and they have very little interest in promoting it to the point everyone's still talking about Reform!
Nothing about a racist MP?

Oh no, course not. Silly me.
Trump's America Pt. 23,924
This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.
It needs the senior players to tell Slot the system isn't working, it's not ready and the players aren't comfortable in it.

These maniacs are sad that advertisers are presenting black & brown people as family members, professionals and users of washing machines rather than iklwa hurling zulus, untrustworthy agents of Vichy, dockyard lascars in opium dens and double crossing Crusader infantry
Exactly this. That was my time of walking away from the BBC political and news coverage too.
I used to defend the BBC’s coverage until fairly recently. Election night 2024 was probably the point at which I snapped and could no longer avoid facing what it had become.
Nothing on the BBC Radio news this morning. Nothing I could find on their website. This is an MP from the party whose lead in the opinion polls normally ensures them wall-to-wall coverage. She spouts racist nonsense for which even she feels obliged to apologise. What on earth are they playing at?
"I apologise for saying out loud what I actually believe" doesn't seem much of an apology but maybe that's just me being a woke snowflake.
I don't have an issue with the theory it is the practice that's starting to rattle my cage; there's just no improvement.

They fluked a few wins and everyone thought it was rosey but it's obvious now that the system doesn't work and there's no signs of improvement from game to game which is worrying
Slot is determined to prove he can do it and wont use Klopp's 4-3-3 even though he was shown in midweek it works because the players know it.

Instead Slot plays his formation which doesn't work featuring players who don't want to play the roles the system needs them to.

Bit like Amorim last season

Here’s the original clip of Ronald Reagan from April 25, 1987, where he delivered a complete and total rebuke against tariffs. Trump's calling Reagan’s words here “FAKE” and “fraudulent.” They’re 100% real. And the original clip is actually far worse for Trump, as much is left out of the ad:
She's a racist. I'm sure Farage will condemn her comments soon because we all know Reform aren't a racist party...
Spread it far and wide.

Sarah Pochin, Reform UK
His legs have gone but he has the nous. All Kerkez wants to do is bomb forward but it is exposing the CBs because the midfielders want to bomb forward too! Add in the total inability to defend set pieces and it is a disaster currently.

If they hadn't got lucky for those early season wins, well...
