1. For ease of discovery, set your bio text and both images to the same as Xitter. If you've lost those images, it's easy to save them from Xitter. 1/n

As users "dislike" posts, the system will learn what sort of content they want to see less of. This will help to inform more than just how content is ranked in feeds, but also reply rankings.

I agree. I can see niche cases - getting power to battlefields, Antarctic, disaster zones etc.

The R^2 propagation losses will be massive. And the thought of mega or giga watt RF beams wandering off-target is terrifying!

A 1km antenna will be an attractive target for space debris too!

It is totally within the claimants control. They are awarded a mobility allowance in £ that they can spend how they like - scooter, taxis, lease car, whatever. The full award only affords a fairly small car, so many claimants have to add their own money to get the car they need.

What drives these people to be so hateful? Can't they imagine themselves or a loved one becoming disabled and needing help?

The logical conclusion of their position is a dog-eat dog, survival of the fittest world which would probably petrify them, running home to mummy.

I need to read it, but my attention will be on whether they have included implementation costs. Eg: collecting £20 for GP appointments. A whole new job role, possibly IT development and integration programme for practices that are already doing 20% more work than they were 10 years ago. Etc

I agree - she should be treated the same as anyone else. Caller to LBC just now knew someone who'd fallen foul of this law and been fined £40k. I'd imagine a fine that large might have involved deception or wilful intent though

Same rules for everyone is my mantra - public, Labour, Tory, Reform..

I'd heard she had referred herself, but seen no reports she's been cleared. The main thing in my mind is that on the legal (not ethics) point she faces the same sanctions/punishment that you or I would if we broke the law in the same way.

Unless she's wrecklessly ignored expert advice, Reeves needs to suffer no more and no less than a member of the public would, who did the same. Saying the rules are complicated or confusing is no excuse (like it wouldn't be for us), especially when she is a lawmaker.

I'll be surprised if it works anywhere but outdoors with a good view of the sky in most directions. Great for for those true blackspots like trans Pennine roads, Highlands etc. But I suspect most people are thinking blackspots in buildings, trains etc so, will be disappointed.

So it looks like they plan to tax people £10 billion a year for being disabled.
