I'm writing one poem a day this month, to thank both the community, and the Practice, that have enriched my life so much. I would humbly suggest others join me, for it feels most appropriate during a time of Thanksgiving.

Remember, everything you post on social media is being scraped by AI to add to its growing intellectual capacity. We're doomed.
Someone just knocked on my apartment door and literally said, "I'm the plumber, I've come to fix the sink."
I wonder how many people will get this.
I had a sprinkling of Goth in mine. This was a good thing. One translation of my last name is actually "of the Goths."
I change my mind a lot throughout the day. I used to think this was a bad thing. But according to the theory of quantum multiverses I'm actually doing all of creation a favor.
I was walking with River. She pointed. "Do you recognize that?" Yes, I said, that's a caterpillar. She pointed again. "Do you recognize that?" Yes, I said, that's a butterfly. She laughed. "How wise you are, for they cannot recognize each other." #writerslife
Today I created yet another email address, specifically for my YouTube channel. I think that makes at least seven active ones now. I guess that's what people call Internet compartmentalization. I prefer to call it identity shenanigans. But that's just me.
"I think, therefore I am" is not a passive statement. In my opinion it means I choose to think, and that makes me who I am. My thoughts define me, and I need to feed those thoughts with information that will help me grow and reach my full potential.
I'll think of that word, and this piece, every time I drink a cup of coffee. Brilliant writing. Thank you for sharing it.
The scene in "A River Runs Through It," when they're out fishing and the father just reaches out to touch his son. No words. As a father of two sons, that incredible moment, masterfully directed by Redford, brought a tear to my eye. I'll never forget it, or him.
Sometimes I stay close to the rules of composition. In this photograph I focused on the rule of thirds. My camera has a grid pattern that I enable.
