1. In a groundbreaking lawsuit, fencer Dinah Yukich has become the first to our knowledge to sue an entity for capitulating to Trump's anti-trans executive orders in violation of state nondiscrimination law.

This kind of lawsuit could have huge ripple effects.

Fencer Becomes First Trans Athlete to Sue USOPC For Capitulation To Trump’s Sports Ban
“The tournament organizers were [aware] that implementing the transgender policy may violate state law where an event is taking place.”

It's to identify where the mandatory subdermal chip with always-on AI is implanted.
Mmm. That's a universal, "Make a dystopia worse." - All of that, but there is still JIRA.
It's hard to argue when you're right. How about a compromise? Fuel cell for prototyping, and if things continue at their current trend, I can swap it out for a reactor when there is no longer an oversight to worry about.
...

I'm going to need to run some numbers. I'm going to say no to the reactor right away. I'm not jumping through all of the DoE hoops on nuclear safety again. But maybe a fuel cell can work to keep it quiet and vibration-free. I need to work out what the right drive system for this is.
The little paw on the harness and shirt behind looking like a cape make this cat look like a very bored superhero.
To be fair, Osvaldo seems to be unknowingly complementing Seamus for standing up to Bill. I wouldn't even be mad. That's a W.
The main driving forces are socioeconomic factors, which when properly addressed, pay huge dividends to municipalities investing in them.

But investing in social safety nets is hard work, and complaining about immigrants is free, so that's what a lot of politicians and media focus on.
Jobs and crime. Immigrants making either worse are complete lies, yet so many supposedly educated and left-leaning people believe that immigration is the root cause.

The statistics on both is pretty clear. We have more variation city-to-city than with anything correlated to immigration.

this is not a staffing problem
this is not a budgeting problem

the problem is the uk doesn’t allow an informed consent model which should be standard worldwide

the waitlist is for a completely pointless assessment that should not be required to access trans healthcare
The ‘Transit’ gender clinic in Spain has a 3 WEEK waiting list! 😳😳😳

It covers a population of 8 million, (equivalent to the population of Scotland & Wales combined, or 1/7th of the population of England) It has a total of 43 staff, a majority of whom are part-time, working 6-7 hours per week!
Trans health waiting lists are a political choice
I’m just back from an awesome trans healthcare conference in Norway (blog on that to follow). Here I wanted to share information from a presentation by the founder of the transit trans health…

I didn't notice until you pointed it out. 😸

If you're reading this and wondering maybe if you've been working too hard and need a break.
Take that break. Take it NOW.

The #NoKings protest this weekend will be the largest pro-democracy mobilization in history. It makes sense that the fascist, authoritarian dipshits on the wrong side of history are freaking out and trying to scare people into not showing up, because they are terrified of us and our resolve.
Lets be honest. None of these men have what it takes to survive as a trans woman in Russia.
Only one of these will ever tell you that you've made the right decision of buying a Cybertruck even with divorce being one of the consequences.
In my 20s, I've drunk-written some code like that. Not at that scale, of course, but finding a few pages of code you sort of remember starting on, but not really the writing part, and then with great shock discovering that it compiles and works correctly is an experience.

remote work is like birth control or UBI atp where there’s overwhelming research consensus they improve quality of life for people they apply to, yet access is impeded or blocked by the ruling class because the thought of marginalized ppl having rich full lives makes steam come out their ears
2. Rolling Stone is owned by a large media conglomerate, which is ending remote work across its brands.

My home is Portland, Oregon, ~1,000 miles from the nearest office, so this marks the end of the line for me at RS.
Energy is pressure times volume, and at depths of a few kilometers, these energies start getting into ranges with considerable TNT equivalent. At the depth Titan imploded, it'd only take 3.5 gallons to equal an M67 grenade. It'd be weird if it wasn't burned.

Is Westphalia west of East-Westphalia the West-Westphalia, or just Westphalia?

There's a non-evil Moon? All I see is a planet-sized rock proud of having slammed into the Earth once and contemplating doing it again. You mean to tell me there is another Moon?
I have *all* the cheesy pickup lines running through my head right now.
A very significant portion of the Pacific Fleet sailors and officers are from LA and SD. If they get orders to shell cities, likely won't go how admin wants it to. I'd rather not find out, of course.
