So the holiday doesn't quite mean what it used. Even though I was never one to dress up, I did love the season. Now I'm a little more ambivalent towards Halloween. So if I come off grumpy about anything Halloween-y, I just wanted to let people know why.

I might get a bit melancholy over the next few weeks. You know outside my normal level of melancholy due to... you know the world. A week from now it'll have been two years since my Father had a stroke and then passed away the day before Halloween.

I lived in upstate New York (in the Albany area) for about 30 years, in south west Florida for about 20 years and now in Arizona for nearly 2 years. Just a random thought that popped into my head. No real point.
