The only really surprising thing about this is that the chats were leaked. Open racism and bigotry are the mainstream positions in the GOP at the moment. They feel liberated from the tyranny of being decent human beings. Like I said the other day, the Alt-right won and this is what they wanted.

Democrats, 2020-24: "We must not prosecute Trump, because it will help him win." Also, "We must not prosecute Trump, or he will seek revenge."

And so we let Trump get away with all his crimes, betrayed the whole idea of justice, and guess what: he won anyway and he's out for revenge anyway.

Things for any future D president to do on day one:

1. Defund and disband ICE
2. Congressional investigation of every ICE incident
3. Financial investigation of prisons etc working with ICE
4. End qualified immunity for all LEOs
5. Fast-track legal immigration for every non-felon targeted by ICE
