I agree. People will be like "iT wAS aLREADY 10 yEARS iN dEVELOPMENT" but really the version we got was a very quickly developed game using old assets and scenarios, so it was very very disjointed

Can't deviate much from the AVGN source while on the road to release, so in my spare time I've been throwing together something with what I've built for that.

I think my FAVORITE use of 3d printers is to make a really nice print, clean it up for hours I GUESS, and make a mold of it so I can just copy the master print- or at least that’s what I’d do in a selling situation.

Resin printers are nice- I like a LOT of printable things, but cleanup goes a loooong way on the selling side of things haha it’s like smoke under my nose when I see a video of some greebly for sale en masse and they’re just left looking like a shiny Xbox 360 rendering of a rock face

I remember as a kid it always felt like spring and autumn were super significant and gradual transitions between hot and cold, and now it’s like “today it’s 32°f, yesterday was 75°f”

It doesn't change the fact that the lines are ugly as shit, and when you sell a 3d printed doodad that took 12 hours to print and has 0 cleanup, it's still ugly.

Or maybe you look at any picture, video, or store with a 3d printed doodad in any setting they're available and can identify that's exactly the case immediately haha

Hot take: the layer lines make every single 3d print ugly and contrary to what many enthusiasts would have you believe- it’s not actually charming in the least bit. Also the amount of cleanup you need to do to each print after hours of printing makes it not worth it lol

Even after finishing the game and trying the extra content- it was some of my least favorite Final Fantasy experiences, and I'm someone who was OK with grinding out the Chocobo crap in FFX.

Pretty much every milestone in this game was like "Oh... why is this like this". Nothing was satisfying beyond the little open world segment in the beginning before you get to that stupid water city, and then it's just a mess of old repurposed maps and concepts.

Final Fantasy 15. I get that people love that game, but it is such a Frankenstein’s monster of a game structurally and it’s just bad. You play a new game until you get to parts made 10 years before the game released and it SHOWS. Even the story had big changes just months before release. Let down.
