Wild that Frank has caused muscle injuries to Davies and Romero and further injuries to Udogie, Takai, Bissouma, and Solanke. Or are we not doing that anymore?
Another go-to of mine--though only useful insofar as it's sincere--is 'I don't care what you think about anything in this universe.'
So many good ideas here. I will have to think about which one to do first, not easy to pick! Thank you!
Anything on your mind re. Spurs that you'd like me to look into and write about?
Beginning of last season but no one wants to hear that.

A pragmatic adjustment yesterday might have been to bring Kudus centrally as a 10 to provide a central out ball, move Xavi wide left, and bring Johnson in on the right wing. Then you have security & ball progression left channel & central and an over the top option on the right. We went OTT anyway.
My recollection is they did a good job making it feel like you were in a Kafka shirt story.
I was more commenting on the fact that you only post about me. Probably because I called out your bullshit statement that one time and you’ve been looking for every way to get back at me for it besides address what I actually said.
Kafka museum is pretty good though, right?
But for different reasons. It wasn’t a tactical choice last year, it was what happens when Archie Gray and / or Ben Davies are playing center back.
I think we pressed better from the front but agree we didn’t close around the box.
Yeah, I think not closing the ball around the box is a good, succinct way of describing the problem right now when we're allowing possession.
And Deki for that matter.
So far I'm not a huge fan of Archie off the ball, but maybe? In the same vein of thinking, we should also look stronger in the press when Dom is back fit.
We're gonna find ourselves in those game states pretty much every week, because we're not creating much and not finishing what we're creating.

But on the positive side, I think we mostly defended well today because we pressed well. That's looking better.
On the whole I think that was actually one of our better defensive performances this season, but from PSG to Villa today, this tendency to back off with the lead and allow possession and shots from the edge of the box is not good. Doesn't have to be full intensity but does have to be more.
We're a much better squad this season putting in worse performances and stealing results.
How has McGinn not been carded.
No ideas about how to play like a top team, only ideas about how to hold on as a mid-table team.
Tactically it would be a good idea not to let the opponent have the ball and take shots at our goal.
He put his foot through the ball to clear it.
'Our high xGA doesn't mean anything because we give up lots of low-xG chances'
