From my generation in Durham, people with Chemistry degrees went into Accountancy, people with Physics degrees went into Merchant Banking.

(I'm weird, did Chemistry and have remained in science in all my professional life).
Listing and selling really doesn't work well for hand-made clothes anyway, you can't put a price on them that has the remotest resemblance to the actual cost of the garment (fabric plus time). Like you, I can afford to pay it forward by taking them to charity shops.
