Ultimately, unless UBI is deployed as part of a deeper systemic break from capitalism—addressing wealth concentration, ownership & the state's role—it risks being another sticking plaster on a broken system, perpetuating cycles of worker exploitation & wealth erosion that have repeated for 500 years

It makes no fuckin sense. None. The maths and the macroeconomics say short term improvements, long term erosion of wealth and we repeat the cycle of hurting workers and relief set within capitalism.

And yes the fundamentals are correct, but unless you protect against the actual system itself.

It's fucking pointless.
Capital without restraint and the power of the state will eat up UBI in a generation just like minimum wage

Capitalism is a zero sum game.

Public Debt is Private Wealth and 80% is controlled by a handful of people.

Throwing more money at it, is a very temporary sticking plaster. Like the minimum wage for Blairism.

In fact if you don't tax wealth and corporations, break up the shareholder monopoly, then UBI will actually do nothing to stop inflation.

And in reality could fuel inflation further, meaning nothing improves and we just keep transferring wealth upwards.

So UBI in socialism—not Capitalism.

Unless you address the fundamental flaws within Capitalism and ban the current and previous versions from returning.

You never stop the 1% from controlling 80% of all the resources and UBI just uses more money to fund a fundamentally flawed system.

Until that's addressed UBI is a sticking plaster
