Dems should point out that the poorest states in the country Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, West Virginia are run almost exclusively by Republicans, and have been for decades.
Remember a few years ago when Twitter tried to make a racism bot, but it kept failing because it couldn’t distinguish between what mainstream Republicans were saying versus far-right racists?
POLITICO: “.. They referred to Black people as monkeys and ‘the watermelon people’ and mused about putting their political opponents in gas chambers. They talked about raping their enemies .. and lauded Republicans who they believed support slavery.
The GOP will whip out a blank check to hurt people they don’t like, but won’t spend a dime to help anyone without expecting something in return. And they’ll call it being fiscally responsible.
