Haunting. The Computer History Museum has not only restored a PDP-1, but with the help of computer legend Peter Samson, they're reviving it as an instrument. Via a hack Samson created in the early 60s, the lightbulbs of this machine sing along to Boards of Canada, with more music coming soon:

All of this is to say back in real life, our Palestinian colleagues are returning to the north (and facing ongoing threats in the West Bank), and our Ukrainian friends are as I type this spending another night in literal dark and cold (just got a couple of direct reports from Kyiv). Okay, industry. Read the room. Using obvious genAI in marketing materials is really asking for it from a customer base who are deeply divided on this. (also, the ones I'm seeing are really using it badly so maybe just -- don't?)
