Soon it will be time for those of us lucky enough to be able to leave and settle elsewhere to get the fuck outta Dodge. Id love to go to the UK but at age 65 im guessing it’s going to be almost impossible to get citizenship there. Maybe the EU. Dad was Hungarian, I read I could try there.

I think it's more important not to use a blanket term like "authoritarianism." It's not a scientific term, but more importantly it creates a false sense of order. There is no order to what Trump's government is doing. Much like with bullies, the answer is rising costs; costs to do tyrannical things
