"Nostalgic Entropy" is an absolutely gorgeous non-linear single map by "Ashtral Fiend" with an on point 80's Vaporwave vibe. I can't compliment enough how well crafted these encounters were in these environments. Maps where you can take multiple paths are hard to balance and they nailed it!

Sunlust map 15 "Strength and Anger"
This is the one that let's you know the gloves are off. You better learn how to weave around enemies and make the best use of infighting you can. A true challenge to pistol start single segment and it will only get rougher.

Did another paper cutout experiment for fun. Caesar Romero is best joker
I also use the term "Capital G gamer" in a similar way.
I simply don't care for the games and feel the price isn't worth it. The devs should REALLY be given more resources and time. I still have a fondness for the series and I agree that people just dunking on stuff for the sake of it is bad faith.
Dreyr is too busy pretending to be a goober.
Genuine fan of the vibes here and very expressive pose.
Conjuring water in bladder just to go outside. Mischievous little guy.

Was the second wad I ever played (2 years ago and very new to doom wads) and decided to pistol start, single segment, UVmax it. Not knowing at all what I was in for. This revisit (sometimes use saves) has been very fun. An immense challenge.
This is to say I agree wholeheartedly.
Mad kudos. I love the "Building World" concrete jungle aesthetic.
Sunlust map 14 "Troglobite"
A short level with 1 tough fight. Though you may notice a yellow key you missed at the end. A map that allows you to opt in to making things easier with secrets. Invul now or later. Use it later as there is a super secret, a careless whisper.

Sunlust map 13 "Ruins of Skania"
I'm always a fan of maps where the exit is visible from the start. Most of this is small fights that has an Arch-Vile sprinkled in after the fact to start causing trouble after. Extra bonus for sneaky chaingunners and Imps bullying a Spider Mastermind.

It's non DMD. It's "simpler" in general and lends itself more to storytelling with a group and improv. Not that DND can't do that. I enjoy both.
Ah. Thanks for context.
I'll never understand this type of discourse.
It comes off like they don't actually like the medium or if an opinion is out of the norm, that it's automatically wrong or dumb.
My condolences
Silly little cover mock that I had no idea how to finish. So here it is with mixed results. Still fun though.

Sunlust map 12 "Dangeresque"
What a fantastic tight fight that just keeps sprawling open at everyturn! Music pumping and monsters infighting a Spider Mastermind and Cybie! I enjoy the two cubbies where you choose between health or armor pickups. Just run and gun!

This never ceases to fascinate me.
It's like, yeah, other people get different experiences from things and may have different tastes.
As long as I can understand why someone came to that conclusion, I have no major gripes, even if I disagree.
Keep being you man.
Simply adore the colors used here, Excellent piece for a loading screen into a new area. Kudos.
The GZDOOM kerfuffle will be interesting to see develope, especially with all the fantastic indie games coming out on it.

If there is a mass migration, I can only hope the transfer is a smooth one. Especially for the game devs.

I look forward to your debut UZDOOM. Best of luck to the devs!
I mostly agree with you though. I feel if the devs encourage it, I can't really be too mad. Not that I was.
It's a powerful game and having the message watered down can "taint" the experience so to say. So I get it.
Merch that misses the point is not a new thing to me. Neither is a fandom watering down a point, if they even engaged with the thing to begin with.
I do feel that getting upset doesn't do much for the conversation though. Letting your thoughts be heard so that others don't miss the point can help.

Bugs when you lift up a rock

The bug is of my homie @togfer.bsky.social character. An older piece.
