I begged my big sister to sneak me into the drive-in to watch Alien when it came out. As a wee kid I knew what I would like.

She refused on the basis the movie would give her nightmares.

The advertising for it did not do the movie justice.

I made a beef stew this week, grabbed a bottle to pour in some wine. Realised way to late it was a tawny port. Very sweet stew. Served with mashed potatoes with garlic & brie.
