Okay, this is a moonshot of a post, but Ahmed reached out via a mutual friend, his sister is being evacuated to Spain by the WHO on a medical evacuation. Ahmed had requested that he and his family would accompany her, but sadly it was rejected. There is an allowance for family member to evacuate as well, but it's dependant on number and the country in question.

Which is red tape bullshit, so on Ahmed and his family's behalf I am asking first for a small miracle, if anyone knows any Spanish lawyers or people of influence I ask you to get in touch and explain the situation. We just want Ahmed safe and out of this living hell, the choice to leave his homeland is not one taken lightly, but he as always prioritises his family over all else.

The alternative and perhaps more possible is for you to share this post, donate to him and his family, the Spanish like the Irish have stood firm with Palestine against the evils of Israel. So I ask you to stand by him, crushed under the weight of genocide and now likely having a slim chance of escape crushed too. Support them, keep them alive, don't let them be forgotten.

I’m sharing a Palestinian account every day and today is Basma. Basma was a makeup artist and did eyelash extensions before the war. She lost her home and the tower she worked in was recently destroyed. She has 4 children Tulin, 9, Malak, 7, Kamal, 5 and baby Maryam who is just 9 months old.
