The female foot has beautiful ratios. Length to width, the crescendo of the width of the toe spread,front pads, and heel. The ratio of each toe size from big to little. I appreciate it like a mathematician appreciates the beauty of the fibonacci sequence. Gorgeous patterns in nature.

I think it can mean different things to different people. Each D/s dynamic is unique, and I think its meaning has also evolved overtime. There are also different levels (training collar, commitment collar, permanent collar).

I think traditionally it has signified ownership, commitment, and trust.

Collaring for commitment is a more serious and considered matter. As @subrahul.bsky.social said, there can also be levels to it depending on how each pairing wishes to structure their relationship and commitment.

Every incidence of collaring is a unique agreement between the two (or more) parties involved. However, these agreements fall roughly into two categories. Collaring for play is part of the ritual of creating a scene and is for the period of that particular scene.
