One of my personal favorite movie trends was the late 90's resurgence of the "creature feature" monster movie. Spurred on by the deft mix of animatronic and CGI work in films like Jurassic Park, this brief comeback was the millennial equivalent of what moviegoers saw in the wake of JAWS.

Realistically, one thing I have learned from having conservative in laws is that these people have an incredible ability to turn their hearing off when one of their own exceeds their racism level. It's like those earplugs that kick in at a certain decibel level
