If you’re driving around in unmarked cars, wearing masks, and kidnapping people, you’re not one of the good guys.

He lost the 2020 election. He knew it. He lied about it. And now he’s demanding your money because knowingly lying didn’t make him President.
Trump: "It's awfully strange to make a decision where I'm paying myself. But I was damaged very greatly and any money I would get I would give to charity."

Republican senators have lost all autonomy and are no more than Trump’s puppets. Don’t mistake them for democratic leaders. Listen to Stuart Stevens on MSNBC

This is extrajudicial murder. It is illegal and unethical. And it is a pathetic use of American military force, demonstrating not strength but weakness.

The orange faux monarch wants to give $40 billion to his weird hair buddy in Argentina. He’s desecrating The People’s House to build a gaudy monument to himself. He wants the taxpayers to pay him $230 million for his crimes. Marie Antoinette would blush at his arrogance and hubris.

The Klamath River runs through the heart of Yurok life. For decades, the community fought to free it — and in 2024, they won.

I spoke with Yurok Tribal attorney Amy Bowers Cordalis about what it means to restore a river, a people, and a way of life in my latest conversation for @thenation.com.

The GOP-led Congress has been out of session for too long. The House is not shut down. They’re getting paid and should be working.
Social Security and Medicare are the most successful programs ever implemented in the United States. The PPACA (Obamacare) is also a successful program. Republicans have been attempting to destroy each of these successful programs. They must be stopped.

Social Security is NOT a handout.

It is a benefit earned with every paycheck, and it must be protected and expanded, not cut, privatized, or means-tested.
So this degenerate wants US taxpayers to pay him for illegally taking and hiding highly classified documents, attempting to overturn the 2020 election, and inciting a mob to storm and trash the Capitol and assault capitol police officers? He’s delusional. He needs serious mental health care.

Hubris, depravity, arrogance, degeneracy, greed, ignorance; there are not enough common adjectives to describe the enormity of trump’s twisted existence.

trump began the demolition of democracy on January 21, 2025. He has now begun demolition of The People’s House to feed his ego and that bottomless hole in his existence.

Fifteen presidents have invoked the Insurrection Act.

Trump claims one president used it 28 times in the course of a single presidency.

The Insurrection Act has been used a total of 30 times over the course of its 217-year history.
Trump: "I'm allowed as you know as president, like 50% of the presidents have used the Insurrection Act. Everybody agrees you're allowed to use that and there is no more court cases, there is no more anything. We're trying to do it in a nicer manner, but we can always use the Insurrection Act."

Frontier AI models poses two major challenges. They need giant data centers that suck up massive amounts of electricity and water, and there's a risk that the technology will fail, with unforeseeable but potentially calamitous consequences.
Trump’s AI Deregulation Is His Oppenheimer Moment
He has chosen to unleash a powerful and potentially cataclysmic new technology on the world with no regard for consequences.

In the middle of all Trump’s distractions, pay attention to the fundamental issue:

While the richest people are getting richer, tens of millions of people are struggling to pay for rent & groceries.

Now 15 million Americans are going to be thrown off health care. Unacceptable.

Republicans in Congress have capitulated to trump. The Supreme Court republicans have capitulated to trump. We the People have NOT capitulated. We the People will stand up tomorrow to declare “No Kings”. We the People stood up in 1776 and we will again.
