Looking at a Friday evening UK time probably Gonna get something set up soon.

Got something set up as trial—it has the built in chat. You can mirror it to TV and go fullscreen or, as I tried earlier, watching on TV browser.

This is what I got working so far: w2g.tv/room/?room_i...
Let's meet on Watch2Gether
Watch2Gether lets you watch videos with your friends, synchronized at the same time.

Great. I got realtime streaming figured. Looking at tying a discord chat to it. The streaming app does have a built in chat but looking at options and welcoming suggestions

Looks like I will be launching an online film club/watch party soon. Lots of focus on Eurocult, world cinema, arthouse, etc.

Looking into it at the mo. Thinking arthouse/Eurocult etc. Interesting film with merit. Not stuff to just riff off. Looking at options that are easy to use—something that can stream realtime to browser and provide
link. Make it straightforward. So, if its one of interest—just click n go.

Looking at setting up a small online film club for cult film watchalongs. Just wondered if there is any interest out there.

Excellent. Cheers. 🍻

Gonna add that to my basket then! The UK release has, I believe, has been long OOP.

31 Days of Horror: Freaks (1932). A movie I love more and more as the years go on. It grows on me. I keep both releases because they have two different David J. Skal commentaries (one of my heroes RIP).

That opening few minutes of Suspiria before Suzy Bannion reaches the school—just incredible. Sadly I've probably seen Suspiria one too many times now—so, much of the film no longer lands as it used to. Oh to be able to see Suspiria, one more time, with the eyes of a first time viewing!

The one I watch most too. But, as there is pretty much something uncanny valley about Argento films—like an askewness—I am facinated by how it plays out in Cat. A lot I put down to Karl Malden. Film just intregues me. Yet still find myself watching Tenebrae more—for its no-nonsense ultraviolence.

The World of the Vampires (1961) Rudy has discovered a piano note that can kill vampires, but will it help when a curse has turned his fingers into claws? Yes, pretty easily, in fact. Good ol' vampire fun from Mexico

31 Days of Horror: Quatermass and the Pit (1967). A Hammer classic from the first scene. Sci-fi horror with Dr Bernard Quatermass investigating. Hammer was doing everything right at this point.
