I remember when switching to VS-code: googling "extension to do X in VS-code"
and repeatedly finding "that feature is built in".

Now I realise the reason for X so often being built in is often because it's not something that can be done with extensions. Because extensions are more limited too.

I once reviewed a paper + library from people working for semantic scholar, where they had converted their database into a graph database of citations.

I recommended rejection because they did all this then didn't provide any tooling or even recommendations for doing graph analysis on it.

Also body hair is weak and pathetic vs face hair or pubes.

Nope. I got it done at start of my transition.
It's very nice.

Not totally gone for me, but more hairless than anyone is naturally.
And makes shaving rest super fast. If I want perfectly smooth

Plus no roughness or in-growns as it grows back. (What's left is mostly very fine).
