God I love 2-out, 3-run homers.

“Now it is a strange thing, but things that are good to have and days that are good to spend are soon told about, and not much to listen to; while things that are uncomfortable, palpitating, and even gruesome, may make a good tale, and take a deal of telling anyway.”

Already with the off-season talk on my timeline, disgusting.

We got Seattle right where we want them, leading by 7 in the playoffs. Ultimate payback.

Get Heineman walking to the bullpen as a bluff.

I'm just going to say, "I don't like this move" after every single decision so I can either say, "I knew it!" or "Happy to be wrong!" every time.

Not sure anyone has both killed us and saved us quite like Varland had since coming over.

Ball is just flying weird off the bat it feels.

How do you accept the umpire calling this a strike and Trey's pitch a ball without questioning his integrity?
orth.ca
Well, at least nervous anxiety will be limited for a time, sadness it is.

News: Anthony Santander is out of the lineup with back tightness. #BlueJays

It’s more curious because this fails to take into account the other side entirely too.

Does bad batted ball luck for the offense lead to the pitchers for that team failing more often?

Also you can have bad batted ball luck and still smack homers…

It’s still a fairly small sample size though.

Pretty dramatic how often offensive batted ball luck leads to game results. I'd have thought it'd be a bit noisier.

They’ve also never lost a playoff game with the roof open.

I find it strange how dealing with the sadness for a sports letdown is easier for me than the anxiety of holding a close lead.

Like if they had have maintained a 1-0 lead throughout it would have been much more mentally taxing on me than losing the lead and then managing being bummed out.
orth.ca
The Blue Jays have never lost a Game 2 at home in the ALCS.

They've only played two, 1985 and 1992.
orth.ca
If you ask me, the difference in the entire game was these two lineouts. Baseball just be like that.

Now let's get back to mashing taters.
orth.ca
Springer's lead off home runs have been the only scoring in 3 of the last games he's done it.

They lost 20-1 at KC, Won 11-7 at CIN and lost 2-1 at PIT.

sit on the first pitch get me over slider

21 balls in play, 1 hit

Yeah the narratives are as dumb as Schlittler vs bullpen being a slam dunk for NY.
orth.ca
Walks never came back to bite em against the Yankees but they’re the difference in this game.
orth.ca
Doesn’t appear as this one is going to be their game.
