the back half of ZA is loaded with absolutely crazy pieces of music to the point i was upset people hadn't already ripped and uploaded them. GF's composers just flat out do not miss ever

the climax of the game is potentially one of the best bits of any game in the franchise. it's not as emotional as area zero but it genuinely goes really crazy otherwise. it's also surprisingly difficult towards the end; i was never at risk of getting stuck but it did chew through my items like crazy

man the core loop of ZA is really addictive. sidequest and wild zones during the day, grind royale rank points and scoop up any night-only pokemon at night, repeat when the clock rolls over

see i think where zero escape went wrong was that they should've made all of the big final puzzles different newspaper puzzles. we already had sudoku in 999, they should have done a nonogram and a word search in VLR and ZTD

i'm gonna be real i don't think they should be leaking game freak's internal interpersonal drama, both because it feels gross as hell to air people's dirty laundry and also because the worst person you know is gonna use it to blame a single person for structural development issues
