anyway, abolition is a comprehensive overhaul that dismantles predatory systems and replaces them with equitable community care. it’s not about just destroying stuff, but imagining a better world. in healthcare abolition, healthcare would still exist, but the predatory systems around it wouldn’t - prescription drug manufacturers who develop life-saving meds and make them cost-prohibitive; health insurance companies; any system that has the power to deny care; doctors who pursue procedures to milk profit or refuse procedures due to lack of profit. and so on.

Oh man, when I was at Ollie High the biggest shithead on staff absolutely reamed me out for making him late for class because I took "his" spot when I got to school at 6:45 a.m. because it was closest to the gym. He always arrived at 8:13 a.m. and only had two minutes to get to his classroom.
